A Little About Us
Hi, my name is Betsy Olson, I have worked for Tri-State
since November 2004; I am the store manager at Silver
Lake Country Store.  I have been involved with horses as
long as I can remember.  Currently I have one horse, a two
year old Paint mare named Will Moon Ya, more
affectionately known as Wilma.  Chances are if you are at a
horse show any time from April to September I will be there.  
I am currently showing Wilma on the Paint circuit and at a
few open shows.  I was married in August 2008, my
husband's name is Ken, we have a cat named Goose and a
Black Lab named Maverick - he comes to the store quite
often, stop in to visit him sometime!
Hi, my name is Pete Koss, I have been working for Tri-State
Feed & Grain for 7 years as a dairy specialist.  I have 15 years
experience in the dairy business.  Through my job I focus on
calf to lactation cow diets.  I live in Green Bay, WI with my wife
and two young daughters.
Hi, my name is Dave Larscheid.  My wife, Sheila and I started
our business, Tri-State Feed after 16 years of dairying on my
families farm in Green Bay, where we milked 80 cows and
cropped 900 acres.  We have three children who also help out
with the business, my oldest son, David Jr., middle son, Mike
and my youngest daughter, Katie.  When my family decided to
sell the farm for development in 1993, we started trucking feed
which eventually led to the feed business we started out of our
garage in 1996.  Today we own 3 semi feed trucks and
employee eight people.  We feel that we bring a fresh approach
to the feed business along with much knowledge from our
history in farming.  We like to think that when you work with an
employee of Tri-State or Silver Lake you are dealing with family.
Brian Walsh works out of Silver Lake, he is out on the road
working with farms in the Manitowoc and Sheboygan areas.  
He lives in Sheboygan Falls, WI with his wife, son and
daughter.
Hi, my name is Katie Serne, I have worked for Land
O Lakes Purina since November 2009, after leaving
another company where I was a dairy nutritionist.  
My hours are split between Tri-State Feed and
Suring Milling Company in Suring, WI.  I graduated
from Michigan State University where I studied dairy
and beef nutrition.  I have a dog named Tank and
enjoy camping and outdoor sports as well as
spending time with my family and friends.  
Hello, my name is Laura Wojchik, I have been
working for Land O’ Lakes Purina Mills as a
Lifestyle Production Specialist since May 2009.  I
specialize in companion animal nutrition and split
my time between Tri-State Feed and Marathon
Feed in Marathon City, WI.  I graduated from the
University of Wisconsin-River Falls majoring in
agricultural marketing communications with an
animal science minor.  I grew up on a hobby farm
with horses, sled dogs, beef cattle, and a dog
boarding kennel.  I have spent all my life caring for
and loving animals.  I currently own 3 horses and a
husky named Wylie who is my co-pilot out on the
road.
